Len Tye scored 63 goals in 194 appearances.
Ray Gibbins scored 175 goals in 272 appearances. Dave Stevens scored 121 goals in 175 appearances, Jimmy Khan scored 102 goals in 211 appearances, John Termine scored 73 goals in 197 appearances and Barry Cobbold scored 56 goals in 211 appearances.
Mickey Lynch played for the First team in every season.
Bob Sheldrick made 276 appearances and played for the First team in every season bar the first one.
The 13th AGM of the Club took place on 5th June 1984.
1987 – Barry Sutton was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis … and forced to retire from work within 2 years … he passed away in 1996 . He will be remembered for his footballing ability and happy demeanour, and the thankless hours of committee work he put in.
